Organic Enriched Fertilizer Blends; Organic enriched fertilizers are unique, special fertilizer blends manufactured by Orgfert. They are an integration of high quality biodegradable organics, granulated and scientifically formulated and blended with chemical or inorganic fertilizer raw materials. The organic enriched fertilizers provide crops with adequate primary nutrients, nitrogen (N) phosphorus(P) and potassium(K), secondary nutrients and micro nutrients, such as boron(B), calcium (ca), magnesium(mg) and zinc (zn). SLOW AND CONSISTENT RELEASE OF ESSENTIAL NUTRIENTS TO PLANTS
Organic enriched fertilizers have two sources of nutrients, the organic component and the inorganic(chemical) component. On application of the fertilizer to the soil the inorganic component is the first to release nutrients for plant uptake. At this stage plants roots naturally are still developing and they are still very tender and root surface is still very small to take up all the nutrients. Nutrients that are supposed to be leached, fixed or volatized into the environment are immobilized by the organic component which in the later stages on the decomposition process. In about 2 weeks after basal fertilizer application the organic component will start releasing nutrients, its own and the immobilized ones. The nutrients are continually released in daily adequate doses through-out the growing season of the crop. Top dressing at 4 to 6 weeks with an organic enriched crop enhances nitrogen release at this critical reproductive stage of the crop from both the chemical and organic components. When soils dry up at the end of the soil nutrient release process from the organics temporally stops and commence on the onset of rains the following season, hence even the following crops benefit from residual nutrients. The crops are not starved, nutrients are not lost into the environment, hence the slow and consistent release of essential nutrients to plants by Orgfert organic enriched fertilizers.
Improves Soil Structure and Water Holding Capacity
Soil aggregates create pores which store water for plants to access. A poor or non-existent soil structure with high clay content will have a reduced volume of soil pores. Orgfert fertilizers improves Soil structure by balancing soil pH and increasing the compactness of the soil to allow it to retain more water and nutrients.
